This page contains links to various kinds of poker software. Hand analysers, hand replayers, simple poker games, odds calculators and more. Some will be better than others, and I certainly haven't tested them all. If you don't find what you're looking for here, try visiting Poker Portal.co.uk for a more complete list of poker software sites.

Turning River - is a poker software crew that put together some poker hand calculators that are a cross between those found at twodimes.net (accurate), and cardplayer.com (easy to use). Best of all, they have a version of Omaha Hi-Lo, which is a rarity. And of course there's a Texas Holdem one.

One of the database programs out there is The Edge Poker, which is Poker Software that tracks player actions like folds points. The idea is to help identify the rocks from the maniacs at the tables. You can also store the data, so that when you run into a player again, you'll have the stats on them instantly.

Party Poker Hand Replayer - I just love this thing. Now, there are several hand replayers out there, including the Big Slick one that uses prima poker graphics, and several others that are built into other software products. But, the Party Poker one is free, both downloadable and web-based, so take your choice, and has some pre-made hand histories with commentary which are entertaining as all hell, and really informative to boot.

PokerSource - is, by their own description, "A repository for Free Software dealing with the simulation, analysis, and play of poker." If you're a programmer, interested in things poker, here is a place to go to hook up with some source code, and maybe bang some ideas around with other like-minded folk.

Party Poker Mods - what the hell is that you ask? Visit chiplitre.com and find out the different things you can change in Party Poker and Pacific Poker on your computer. Custom congratulations banners, remove chairs, people, even the dealer. Neat stuff.

Online Texas Holdem Poker Tools - Good Poker Players keep notes about their opponents. Poker Sherlock is a poker tool that provides you with real time stats from 1,000,000+ players and updates automatically as you play online. Works with over 100 poker rooms.

Wilson Software - of the Turbo Texas Holdem. You know, the program that helped James McManus, author of "Positively Fifth Street" make his way to the final table of the World Series of Poker.

Poker Tracker - fantastic database tool for keeping track of, and analyzing your play. I need to get this and register it. It's time.

AnteUp! - Low cost home tournament blind management software for Windows.

Dogs Playing Poker - ok, it's not earth shattering. But it does look like fun. Worth a mention at least.

Devilfish Poker (you know Devilfish from television, he's a grisly old pro who has a loveable street-sense about him). Play poker with the Fish - Pit your wits against the Devilfish on the world's best online poker site.
