Winter Poker Open
This event will take place at the Borgata, in Atlantic City, NJ. The Borgata has long been a regular stop on the World Poker Tour, and this year is no exception. Events begin on the 17th of January, and continue through the 30th.
There are 13 different events, mostly focused on No Limit Holdem. The main event has the now standard $10,000 buy-in, and is scheduled to last 5 days, ending on the 30th of January.
There is also a "mini" main event, a No Limit Holdem tournament with a buy-in of $5,000 taking place on Wednesday the 24th. Online qualifiers are open now.

WSOP Circuit Events
The first takes place between Jan. 8-17, 2007 at the Grand Casino in Tunica. Here is a schedule of the events.
There will be 10 separate events, including a HORSE event and a Ladies NL Holdem tournament. Buy-in for the Main Event is $5,000.
The second circuit event will be held at Horseshoe Council Bluffs in Iowa. The events begin on the 28th of January, and most are held in February.
Aussie Millions
The cards are in the air on the 6th for the Aussie Millions, taking place down under at the Crown Casino in Melbourne.
Full Tilt Poker should be represented well at this event, considering the numerous promotions they geared twoards sending players to this prestigious event.
LA Poker Classic
Kicking off at the end of the month is the L.A. Poker Classic which takes place at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. This tournament series opens on the 25th of January, and does not conclude until the 6th of March.
