Jackpot Poker Tournaments

The poker rooms on the iPoker network, which includes Noble Poker and Titan Poker, are running a really interesting promotion. They have set up several different Sit and Go Jackpots.

The object is to string together victories in a series of Sit and Go poker tournaments. If a player wins the required number of tournaments in a row, they receive the jackpot prize. The jackpots range from $2,000 to $100,000.

Several of the jackpots are progressive, which means that if no one hits them, they grow over time. Some of the jackpots are set amounts. The buy-ins and the number of tournaments you must win in a row differ from tournament series to tournament series. And, some tournaments have a consolation prize that you can win even if you place second in a tournament, as opposed to winning it.

Read more about the different jackpot tournament series:

The Dirty Dozen Jackpot Sit n Go series of tournaments is the low buy-in choice. The entry fee for a dirty Dozen tourney is $2.40. The jackpot is set at $2,000.

Maui $15,000 Progressive Sit n Go has a growing jackpot that is reset to $15,000 every time it is hit. The buy-in for the tournaments in this series is $5.75. Also, there is a consolation prize for those who place either first or second in the tournaments.

Rio $25,000 Progressive Sit n Go is the next step up above the Maui. This series has a higher buy-in, and also a higher jackpot. The jackpot is progressive, so it does begin to grow if no one has won it after four weeks.

Fort Knox $100,000 Jackpot is the big dog of these Sit and Go poker series. The winner of the Fort Knox series receives a cool $100,000. There is a consolation prize in this series for players who place either first or second in six consecutive tournaments.

Also, in the Fort Knox series, the games are 6 player tournaments, so short-handed table players should have an advantage.
