Interpoker Review

     Intercasino Poker is the poker arm of Intercasino, one of the popular online casinos. This poker room turns out to be kind of a find in my book.

I haven't played at Interpoker for a while now. They were changing the terms and conditions on the bonus they offer. Not to anything unreasonable, but it did move players towards higher limits, and I wasn't prepared for play at those limits at the time. Also, I had noticed player traffic lowering, making it harder to find the tables I was seeking.

Still, I have a player account at Interpoker, and would play there again. Here is a review I wrote of the room some time ago . . .

     The big draw of the room is that it offers monthly bonuses to new and old players alike. The word monthly here means calendar months, so if you sign up in the third week of March, the first week of April there is a new bonus waiting for you.

     The gameplay is a little slow, which turns out to be a perfect excuse for mutli-tabling (playing at more than one table at a time). Since the action is a little slower, this may be the perfect room for first-timer's to try to multi-table.

     Promotions can change at a moment's notice, but for now the room is offering anyone the chance to "prop". New players will receive periodic popUps alerting them that poker room would like to start a new table. If you choose to be the first player at this new table, the room will pay you for your time and help. Unlike other prop programs, you will cannot prop forever, but at least at first you can take advantage of this extra money if you'd like.

     The room offers the basic games in the basic limits (no micro-limit play), and considering it's affiliation to Intercasino, I definitely consider this a reputable establishment.

     The banking is a bit of a bother, requiring you wait until a PIN number is sent via snail-mail to your home address before you can cash out the first time. I received my PIN and everything worked out fine. But, things like this you should know about before you download and open an account, so I thought I'd make mention of it.

     Since Intercasino is so closely related to the room, you can often find casino players sitting at the tables. Read: the competition is not top-notch. Of course that is always subject to change, but sportsbettors or casino game players playing poker tend to be less skilled than poker players playing poker.
