Full Tilt Poker Review

Full Tilt is the home of the pros online. They have both the big names players that you'll see on television like Phil Ivey, Mike Matusow, and Howard Lederer, and also some of the top online pros as well. It is not at all unusual to look in at the high stakes tables and see players with $100,000 on the table, playing for real money.

Another thing to mention about the room is that they do take US players. So, the player traffic is relatively high compared to many other online rooms. Which means better table selection for everyone.

They also offer one of the highest welcome bonuses in the industry at $600 max. If you are interested in claiming a welcome bonus, use Bonus Code: PROPHET when making your first deposit.

Full Tilt recently upgraded their software and added extra functionality like resizing tables, and buttons that allow players to "cascade" or "tile" multiple tables on their computer screen. This obviously caters to more advanced players who might be playing at more than one table at a time.

Overall

- Another room that deserves some serious credit, 4.5 out of 5 stars

I've been playing at Full Tilt for several months now, and I have to say that the game selection is wonderful. And that includes the tournaments as well.

You can find full table or short table action, and different games will allow deep stack buy-ins, rebuys, add-ons, there are double stack events, turbo tables, you name it.

The room is incredibly active as far as "poker events" are concerned. They run a high buy-in series of tournaments that they call the Full Tilt Online Poker Series, or FTOPS for short. It's about a week's worth of tournaments that range from HORSE to short table NL Holdem and points in between.

Of course you can satellite into these games as well as buy in directly, so there is quite a bit of action surrounding them. And they are certainly not the only feature games at the room. Full Tilt often associates with land-based events, sending their players to major card tournaments regularly.

Some examples include sending players to the Aussie Millions, to compete on Poker After Dark, and their Big Dance Event where there will be 100 seats the to WSOP up for grabs.

All in all, I've been playing at Full Tilt lately for a reason, and its because they are a top quality room. The software has all of the things I want, like the resizeable tables, a colored player notes system, it works well with pokerTracker and the Poker Ace HUD program, the games are there the players are there, and with the pros and high stakes games, I even spend some time railbirding.

I highly recommend visiting Full Tilt Poker and downloading the room.
