The Ultimate Bet Online Championship has come to a close. This was a series of ten tournaments in various styles of poker, with a guaranteeed overall prize pool of $2,000,000. I've posted the results of the uBet 2006 Online Championship, including the player who rose to the top of the leaderboard and will be playing Phil Hellmuth Heads-Up for $10,000.

The World Championship of Online Poker is a series of events that were hosted by Poker Stars recently. The results of over two weeks of tournament are in, and I have them posted in the 2006 WCOOP Results.

World Poker Tour in May
The WPT flies overseas in June. The first event of the month will be held at the Aviation Club in Paris. The Grand Prix de Paris runs from the beginning of the month, and will conclude on the 18th of June.
WSOP in May
The World Series of Poker is having a circuit event in June, this time in Lake Tahoe. There are a series of events planned, all of them are Texas Holdem games. There will be no limit, pot limit, and fixed limit tournaments taking place.
The games begin on the 6th of June, and will conclude on the 19th with a final table the will be covered by ESPN.
Gold Strike Poker Classic
Outside the world of poker inflated by television dollars, and unbelievably large turnouts from the amateurs and internetizens, casino poker tournaments carry on. This month, the Gold Strike Casino in Tunica will be hosting their Poker Classic.
Buy-ins for the events, which include a variety of games like pot limit Omaha, Triple Draw Lowball and Omaha 8 or Better, range from $200-$500 for most events, up to a featured event buy-in of $2,000.
The games begin on the 14th of June, and conclude on the 26th.
Million Dollars - Guaranteed
In case you want to play for big money, but don't mind avoiding travel and all that goes with it, you can join in on the Party Poker Sunday Millions. They've been running Million Dollar guaranteed tournaments for a while, but now they're running them weekly.
This kind of tournament is an amateur's dream. You can enter via an affordable satellite, and then play right from home with a massive prize pool to be awarded.
