5 Card Draw Variations

♠ Triple Draw
There are several versions of Draw Poker being dealt that involve three different redraws. These games are played in Lowball fashion, where the lowest hand at the table wins. They include:

♠ Spit In The Ocean
Each player receives four cards, instead of five. The fifth card is placed face up in the middle of the table, and is shared by all the players in the hand, much like a board card in Hold'em.

The face up card is also Wild, and any held cards of that rank also become Wild.

Play proceeds as in a normal Draw Poker game. Player are allowed to draw four cards during the redraw.

♠ Cincinnati
Players all receive five cards as the hand starts, and an additional five-card "ghost" hand is dealt in as well.

A card from the ghost hand is turned up, followed by a round of betting. This takes place repeatedly until all five cards are overturned.

Players then use any combination of cards from their own hand and the face up cards to create a poker hand.

This game is sometimes played hi/lo, where the pot is plit between the highest and lowest hands at the table.

♠ Cincinnati Liz
Played the same as Cincinnati, excpet a wild card is added to the game. The wild card can either be the third exposed card, or the lowest of the exposed cards. Whichever method is used, it must be agreed upon in advance, obviously.

♠ Low Draw
Begins as Jacks-or-Bettor, except is the hand is "passed out" (noboday can begin betting because they do not hold a hand of one pair of Jacks, or Better), the game proceeds as a game of Lowball.

♠ Brag
Is a three card poker game. The cards are dealt, and the dealer antes. Other players must then either call or raise. At the showdown, only pairs or three-of-a-kind are recognized.
There are also three wild cards in the deck. Ace Diamonds, Jack Clubs, 9 Diamonds. A pair that uses a wild card loses ties to a natural pair of the same rank.

♠ American Brag
In this version of the game, all jacks and nines are wild. Pairs or Three-of-a-Kind hands formed using the wild cards outrank natural cards.
