Dirty Dozen Poker Tournament - Jackpot Sit 'n' Go

This isn't a single poker tournament. Instead the Dirty Dozen is a series of Sit n Go tournaments with a jackpot prize. Players enter into a $2.40 Sit and Go, trying to win. If they manage to win that tournament, they must repeat that task.

The goal is to win four $2.40 SnG's in a row. Whoever can do that is awarded the $2,000 Jackpot. It is an opportunity for some lucky (skillful?) player to take $10, enter a couple of poker tournaments, get change, and earn a $2,000 bonus.

The Dirty Dozen poker tournaments are being run at several of the poker rooms on the iPoker network.

You can enter them at:

Titan Poker where new players can receive a 50% sign up bonus when making their first deposit. If you sign up at Titan, be sure to use Bonus Code: rules to take advantage of the sign up offer. The max bonus is $200.

Noble Poker also runs the Dirty Dozen tournaments. In fact, I first heard of these tournaments through Noble. Check the top of the page to see if they are still running the free $5 accounts for completing the 2005 Poker Survey. If they are, you can use that free money to start playing. Or, you can take advantage of their deposit bonus for first time players. They too run a 50% deposit bonus. At Noble the max bonus is $100.

Another room you can find running Dirty Dozen poker tournaments is Fair Poker. They have a 50% deposit bonus for first time players, up to $200 max.

The poker rooms do not automatically keep track of who is winning and how often. It is up to the players to keep records on when and where they played. If you win a Sit n Go in this series, jot down the tournament number, as well as the time and date. You might want to jot down who else played in the tourney also.

The tournament victories do not have to come in the same day, or even the same week. They do, however, have to come in the same month (not calendar month, the same 30 day period).

You can feel free to play different tournaments, or cash games in between Dirty Dozen tournaments. This will not affect your chances to win the jackpot.

The jackpot is awarded after the poker room checks the tournament history for signs of collusion or cheating.

My favorite stipulation: "The use of offensive language at the Sit ‘N’ Go tournament will disqualify a player from winning a Jackpot prize." So keep a cool head!

Before playing in the Dirty Dozen tournaments, please check the poker room's website for complete details. The details can change any moment, and in the end, it is the poker room's word and not mine that will determine whether you get those couple of grand or not, so double check the rules before competing.
