The Borgata is one of the premiere properties in AC. It opened in July of 2003, and cost $1.1 billion to build. That's a hell of a lot of money for a property in Atlantic City.

While I haven't had the chance to visit myself, stories of this casino, and its poker room, circulate freely when the topic of Atlantic City comes up in conversation.

The summer of 2006 will bring a 85 new poker tables. That's huge.

But, the room does host a WPT Event, so I can see how the tables would be put to good use. Plus, I have heard stories of the wait to get into a game at the Borgata being quite the endeavor, so perhaps they can put those tables to good use year round.

There are Sit and Go's every day but Friday/Saturday, and tournaments most days of the week as well.
