World Poker Tour at Foxwoods
Connecticut is getting in on the WPT action as well this month as Foxwoods hosts the Foxwoods Poker Classic. This event has a $10,000 price tag per seat, with $300 of that going to the house.
If you make the final table of this event, you can set your VCR (or Tivo) for 9:00pm on the 14th of June to catch the television broadcast on the Travel Channel.
The World Poker Championship
Is coming to the Bellagio this month. Tournament dates are slated for Apr 18 through Apr 24.
The Preliminary Event Dates are Apr 3 through Apr 24. With the
Final Table Date scheduled for Apr 24, 2006.
The Buy-In is $25,000 with an Entry Fee of $500. The Travel Channel has Wed 06/28 9:00 PM ET prepared as the "premier" showing of this event's final table.
World Series of Poker
The WSOP Circuit event for April is in Caeser's Las Vegas. The games are scheduled to take place between April 27 and May 11, 2006 and include a $10,000 buy-in no limit event.
There will be a ton of No Limit Holdem events. It looks like little of anything else is on the schedule.
